Property in an excellent location in the traditional settlement of Loutra in Kythnos, just 100 meters from the beach with a stunning view of the Aegean Sea.

The property has a particularly important historical and cultural significance, since it was built during the reign of Otto by the Danish architect, Christian Hansen. The facilities were modified by Ernst Ziller, over a period spanning from 1871 to 1891 and have been classified as historical monuments. They are considered as remarkable examples of architecture, directly connected to the history of Loutra.

Within the property there are two thermal springs, a) the saline thermal spring of “Agioi Anargyroi” and b) the ferrous thermal spring of “Kakkavos”.



The property is in Loutra, Kythnos, which is one of the most beautiful and popular settlements of the island. It is located 12 kilometers from the port of Merichas and 5 kilometers from the town of Kythnos.

Kythnos is connected to mainland Greece by regular ferry services from the ports of Piraeus and Lavrio. The journey from Piraeus lasts three hours and from Lavrio one hour and forty minutes.

Building Facilities

The property consists of hotel facilities, a hydrotherapy center and supporting facilities. The hotel, which ceased operations in 1999, is located in a three-storey building and has 46 rooms.

The hydrotherapy center consists of 14 individual marble baths, a whirlpool, waiting rooms and other auxiliary spaces. It is generally considered as the first spa tourism infrastructure in Greece.
