Pursuant to the concession agreement, dated 24.06.2016, which was ratified by L. 4404/2016, the Piraeus Port Authority S.A. (OLP) has undertaken to implement an investment program at the port of Piraeus. Pursuant to article 159 of L. 4635/2019 HRADF became the Planning Authority in relation to the environmental licensing and the approval of the Strategic Environmental Impact Study regarding the investments which will be made at the port of Piraeus. It is reminded that in 08.04.2016 a share purchase agreement was signed, pursuant to which HRADF sold 67% of the share capital of OLP to Cosco (Hong Kong) Group Limited. 51% of the shares has already been transferred, whereas the transfer of the 16% is still outstanding. Following the conclusion of the transfer of the outstanding stake, HRADF will own 7% of the share capital of OLP.
