The building of the International Broadcasting Centre (IBC) in Marousi was constructed in 2003-2004, shortly before the Olympic Games, to accommodate the International Broadcasting Centre, and part of it was converted into the Golden Hall shopping centre in 2007-2008.
On 5.2.2013 HRADF signed Deed No 56,183 establishing the Usufruct on a Right with the preferred investor LAMDA DOMI S.A., following a tender process with an international highest bidder tender, which was launched on 2.3.2012 (Phase I).
The Usufruct on a Right is granted for 90 years starting on the 5th of February 2013 and HRADF retains the “bare ownership” of the right.
The Company LAMDA DOMI S.A. paid the Initial Financial Consideration of €81,000,000.
An Additional Financial Consideration is set out in the Deed Establishing Usufruct on a Right, based on the Initial Financial Consideration and depending on the Date of the country’s credit rating. The building has an area of approximately 152,000 m2 and was constructed on a plot of 68,000 m2.
The property is located at a distance of around 1 km from Attiki Odos, while it has direct access to the Olympic Complex, including the Olympic Stadium (which is used as the home field of the Panathinaikos and AEK football clubs).
The plot surface corresponding to the property is part of the broader area of the Athens Olympic Sports Center (OAKA), which amounts to approximately 974,000 m2.
